A Southern Marketplace is a 2-day barn sale full of fun, uncommon finds coupled with an experience you’re sure to enjoy. This is the first year we have hosted a Barn Sale on our farm, Acres of Grace Farms, in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. Our farm is a true working farm, and we are anxious to showcase some amazing vendors offering unique, vintage, handmade or one-of-a-kind items. There will be a little bit of everything! Something new and unique to what we are also trying to do is that we are hosting farm tours of our farm on a true vintage 1953 Farm Truck. This will be an amazing educational experience for all… and we want to mention partnering with Honest Abe Log Homes by showcasing our personal home, which features our newest log profile, to you and your family. There are plans for a teaching garden to show how fun and easy it is to plant a garden. There will be farm tours, including row crop, cattle, honey bees, grinding corn meal and more.
Being our first annual barn sale we are working with a network of suppliers and people to advertise heavily in order to grow this event along with reaching people within a 150-mile radius! Our family heritage dates to farming for generations, and it truly means so much to get to host our first annual barn sale in my grandfather’s old barn while sharing our love and passion for agriculture, the land and log home living with you. While our barn sale is off the beaten path, it makes for an unforgettable experience we hope you remember forever.
What exactly is A Southern Marketplace Barn Sale? Well, it’s a barn sale showcasing vendors selling anything from refurbished furniture, jewelry, apparel, antiques, home décor, homemade goodies and more. It’s also more than just shopping too; it is an agriculture learning experience along with touring a one of a kind 10” round log home and learning about the importance of farming, too.
In efforts to ensure you, our vendors, have exclusivity to what you sell, we at, A Southern Marketplace will review all applications as they are submitted. We want you, our vendors, to be successful when you set up at our event and will go to great lengths to make sure there isn’t too many of the same vendors of the same item. We welcome everyone to apply and look forward to working with you all. We’re also offering a 10% discount to vendors who apply before Jan. 30, 2018. To encourage shoppers to buy, we’re giving away a free tote bag for everyone who shops in least 10 different booths.
Another note about our barn sale is that we are partnering with the Clay County Young Farmers & Ranchers group. A portion of all proceeds will go directly to the Clay County Young Farmers and Ranchers to continue to promote agricultural as well as being a fundraiser for them to give back to the community as well.
