Are
the Colorfast colorants Enviromentally safe?
Only
enviromentally safe colorants are used. Colorants are
made from naturally occurring pigments. They are specially
formulated to be nontoxic to children, animals, and plants.
What
effects does colored mulch have on plants?
Using
colored mulch actually aids in your plants growth and
health. It helps prevent weed growth and aids the soil
in retaining moisture.
How much colored mulch should be used?
Generally, a 2-4 inch layer of mulch is recommended
for the first time. Each year the mulch bed should be
raked and topped with about 2 inches of new mulch.
